We became aware of an issue at 11.00am, 01/04/2021, this was resolved at 11.47pm 01/04/2021 🔧
What might have happened?
App: You may have been able to sync your contact data, but this data would not have been received by the Dashboard
Dashboard: If you're a Dashboard Admin or Superadmin:
- You could change safety settings as normal, however this will not have been implemented to your users Hubs and app. Changes to safety settings will not have been applied until after the issue was resolved.
- You may not have been able to view your regular contact tracing or contact data on the MSD page
Why did this happen?
This was caused by an issue with an external service provider, AWS (Amazon Web Services). Although you could make changes on Dashboard or sync contacts, we weren't able to receive these changes and handle the information until after the issue with AWS was resolved.
Did this affect my data?
Don't worry, after the issue was resolved we received any data that you may have sent during the incident, so no data was lost. If your sync was not completed then you will be able to try again and sync your data now 😊
When was this be resolved?
This issue was resolved 11.47pm 01/04/2021, and your app and Dashboard should be working as normal. There won't be any additional updates to this page.
